About Ladakh

Ladakh in recent days has gained immense popularity in terms of tourism and adventure camping. Standing still in the Karakoram ranges of the Himalayas, Leh-Ladakh is the destination to visit at least once in a lifetime. Dotted with stupas and whitewashed houses, the place is dominated by a dagger of steep rocky ridge topped by imposing Tibetan-style culture all around. The land of crystal sand awaits your presence.

This land satisfies both young travelers who want to explore and have an adventurous time and old people who want to relax and rejuvenate. The mountain-scapes, desert-scapes, and river-scapes, all together offer an excellent scenic frame to limber up your photography skills. A variety of food, culture, and scenic mountains keeps you spellbound all over the journey. We ensure some of the best memories of the lifetime with us in Ladakh.

Got question? Say Hi!

Welcome to Leh, the land of Lamas. We arrive at Kushok Bakula airport, Leh – 3500m above sea level. Our representative will receive you from the airport—Check-in in our hotel. Ladakh is a high-altitude place where a human body needs time to acclimatize. Post lunch, we walk around the city and visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace. By evening, as we end the day, we have short, interactive sessions and ice-breakers that help us get acquainted. We have dinner and stay overnight at the Hotel Leh.

Today after breakfast, we cover more places around Leh city. This also helps us acclimatize better to visit the next destinations, which are higher altitude than Leh.  We start the day with the Hall of Fame Museum, followed by Sangam (where the confluence of Zanskar & Indus River tales place). We head towards Spituk, the magnetic hills, and lastly, visit the Pathar Sahib Gurdwara. Dinner at hotel Leh and rest for the day.

As we move forward via Nubra Valley and Hundur Sand Dunes, a 4-5 hours drive takes us to Khardungla, the World’s highest motor-able road, at an altitude of 18832 feet above sea level. The snow-capped peaks and the mountain views are too unique and mesmerizing, making the 120km drive worth it! The road then leads to a bridge laid on Glacier, recorded in the Guinness Book of world records. The valley brings numerous scenic views keeping cameras occupied and rolling throughout! The varied, colorful trees in this region make Nubra valley the Oasis of Ladakh true. Do watch out as you reach the campsite, as Two humped Bactrian camels might turn up to surprise you. Enjoy leisure time at the Sand Dunes of Nubra valley spread across Hundur Village. Overnight at Nubra.

Another early start is like the last 2 days, but the action definitely will leave you spellbound. We lookout for the species we may have missed in the last rounds, or just enjoy the forest has a lot to offer with its own beauty. The added advantage of the sightings will be the bonus. We come back from our safari we set to bid adieu to the iconic jungle with a group picture here. A sumptuous lunch followed by a return drive to Jabalpur. At 7.45 pm we board the train back to Mumbai.

An overnight and exciting train journey and a wonderful time in the forest we might be stressed and we enjoy a boost with a tea on the moving wheels. At around 12.30 we get down at the station in Mumbai and with a lot of selfies and a lot of memories, we bid farewell to each other until next time.

The day has come where we say goodbye to one of the most iconic places on earth, from where we take a lot of memories home. Say goodbye to new friends we have made here and plan the next trip with them.
